Besides the fact that the bride was beautiful in her tiered gown and the groom handsome in his formal suit, there was very little else commonplace about this wedding celebration. As Meghan walked down the aisle in the library room of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial's Alger House (to the Vitamin String Quartet's rendition of The Smith's "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want"), you could feel the friendship and family of the cozy room reaching out to embrace them.
The entire evening, lit through the grand windows of the rooms by the "supermoon" rising over Lake St. Clair, was all about the unification of these two who have grown to be best friends and joyous walking partners down the quirky path of life.

i went to my great grandmother's viewing today. it was so awkward... you know, that long distance family members that you've seen twice and they feel like they know you... or that you never changed? i mean, it wasn't bad. just weird. anyway, on the way we passed this huge sunflower field. it was gorgeous! surprisingly i had a good day. my week, on the other hand, could have used some work. but that's ok. i had pomegranate frozen yogurt! yum! last night i went to a party and we watched Fired Up and Bring It On!!! they were so great! Tonight i'll probably hang out with one of my guy friends since Joshy is outta town for a few weeks...
