This benchmark is located at the point where the state lines of New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas intersect. It's interesting that Texas does not use the Township/Range/Section system.

I found this second Benchmark on the south rim of the butte. Not sure why they added this Benchmark in 1948. Notice the spelling of Schonchin Butte has changed since then. Photographed on Schonchin Butte in Lava Beds NM, Siskiyou Co. CA June 22, 2018.

Gov. Jack Markell, Senator Tom Carper and Secretary Rita Landgraf joined two enrollees on Delaware's health insurance marketplace to encourage more enrollments during the final weekend. Gov. Markell announced that Delaware has passed the 8,000 mark for enrollments, which was the benchmark set by the federal government. "It's all about real people," he said.
Enrollees Kristen Roach of Wilmington and the Rev. Dr. Donald Morton of New Castle said have health insurance through the marketplace gives them a sense of security. "It provides you with back-up," Kristen said. Secretary Landgraf said the state is seeing a surge of enrollments in the final days, calling it "a surge to a better quality of life." Sen. Carper said positive word of mouth is fueling the increased enrollments.
