This is another one of my redo's. I re-did this one because I have been using a new technique for processing RAW's and just thought I would see how this one would turn out.(Since I was never really happy with the one I did before.)

Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. The dome was built by Filippo Brunelleschi and the bell tower by Giotto.

It's possible to see the tourists on the dome looking down over the city after climbing hundreds of steps through narrow corridors.

The Beccles bell tower is a free-standing Grade I listed edifice[1] associated with the adjacent St. Michael's church in the market town of Beccles, Suffolk, England.

It stands near the edge of a cliff overlooking the River Waveney, the bell tower rises an additional 97 feet (29.6 m) and is thirty feet square (9m) at its base. It dominates the town as well as the surrounding countryside, much of which is comprised by The Broads National Park. Views of the Waveney, the North Sea on the eastern horizon, and the flat terrain of the broads extending south into Suffolk and, across the river, into nearby Norfolk, can be obtained by scaling the hundred steps to the top of the tower.

.I assume belltower since we don't have mausoleums that I know of.

This bell, named Thomas the bell, was cast in Villedieu-les-Poeles in normandy and is located within the confines of Mont Orgueil Castle, Jersey.

Happy Anniversary Mary

Today is our wedding anniversary sadly we are spending it in Hull rather than the city of Bologna . Last year was our 40th and I organised a secret trip for Mary at least to this beautiful Italian city . She did not know where she was going till the flight was called

I took this shot exactly a year ago . This is I believe the Campanile of the Basilica Santa Maria dei Servi .The tower was constructed in 1455.

Fact Check there are lots of bell-towers in Bologna and i may have not recorded the correct one I apologise if I have named in incorrectly its a splendid tower regardless

THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH

View of Drum Tower from Bell Tower in Beijing, China. Hutongs are seen in the mid-ground.

This is St Mary's bell tower with its one bell. Unlike some bell towers that were added later, and others that collapsed and had to be rebuilt, this one seems to have been planned from the start and been robust. On the right is the font, which dates from the 15th century.

"Do not ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee."

E.Hemingway

Situated in the Mitgardian mountains overlooking Teridyan bay, Belltower Outpost has been warning the city from attacks for many years. The role of bell keeper has been passed down from father to son, a lonely but important job, constantly on the lookout, and keeping the bell nice and shiny.

If I look at my pictures in thumbnails, they are all white and blue... :)

One of Bidefords old streets. I supposed it was named so because it led to the church tower.
