Something about the combination of the lighting and the camera's "night mode" apparently produce the greenish effect - it didn't look that way to me when I was there...

Warning: SHIELD YOUR EYES FROM ITS AWESOME MAGNIFICENCE. PROTECT YOUR FRAIL HUMAN FORM FROM ITS RADIANCE OF BREATHTAKING SPLENDOR. DO NOT BE ALARMED BY YOUR LOSS OF SENTIENCE. IT WILL WARM YOUR COCKLES AND MAGNIFY YOUR ANIMUS.
Not actually a macro shot. Just trying out the new Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 with some amazing results with close up and bokeh. It's a fun lens for sure and resistance training for your arms at the same time.

John 19:5 Jesus then came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, "Behold, the Man!" It was appropriate, in terms of the way God has planned out salvation, that Yeshua (Jesus Christ) was crowned with thorns because Christ not only died for our sins and the sins of the whole world but also for all of creation. God states in Genesis 3:17 "Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life. Both THORNS and thistles it shall grow for you" Romans 8:21-22 "the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now." Isaiah 65:17 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind."
