A dream waiting to bloom.

With fresh scents of hope and freshness.

"A new beginning!"

The 34th Annual New Beginnings Charity Golf Tournament held yesterday, May 26, at Highfields Golf & Country Club in Grafton, was a wonderful success!

As the major fundraiser for Seven Hills’ Community Connections programs, this tournament brings smiles to everyone involved! Supporters like you, help ensure that our programs provide social, creative, and athletic programming to kids and adults with disabilities—while helping build friendships in the community.

Thank you to everyone who participated. We are keeping the Community Connections alive and well at Seven Hills!

In the very beginning of this restoration I started whit combing the hair, which was stiff and clumpy due to the hairspray madness combined with powder. I noticed that there was simply too much hair at the back of it, so I had to cut off some... actually a lot. Notice that the ponytail is short and ugly... No proper lady could have such disgrace hanging down her neck :P So I intended to extend it!

this is more of a colour girl of easy virtue than a full blown whore, but it pleased me to see it on the beach

A stretch of the westside that was the beginning of the Vice Lords. Their presence lives on today but how many are still here from the beginning?..... or the youngsters knowing what those roots were?.....

I took my time in this particular area but it was an uneasy timeframe. You can feel the stares, the glares, hear the whistles...the alarms that someone has dropped a rock in the silent pond....an intruder has arrived. The sweat flowing as you move cautiously and constantly as you fear that rifle scope out there somewhere. This is a place of history even though it appears to be just another neighborhood. Many years ago this area was a concentration of researchers, sociologists, businesses owned and operated by the Vice Lords, and full of the eyes and ears of Cook County State's Attorney Hanrahan, Mayor Richard Daley (The Old Man), and the Feds. It was also the place where the leaders and soldiers of the CVL's walked as social history was born and raised. I would bet a lunch very few of the kids representing Vice Lords today have any idea who those people were, or what role they played.......

Garden is starting to look tended!

Newroz is the Kurdish celebration of the Persian New Year holiday “Nowruz.” Kurdish Newroz coincides with the Spring Equinox, and is a festival celebrating the beginning of spring. Over the years, Newroz has come to represent new beginnings,

You might see that the whole face has a more natural color, that's normal, her obitsu will be natural ;)

I am VERY happy of how she started to come out, she is still far from done though, I really hope you guys like her as much as me :)

Things to change/redo:

• Make line next to eye more soft.

• Add more blush to lips + Gloss them.

• Keep on working on this darling!

If any of you have any comments or advice, I'll be very happy to hear them! :D

An ideal of rebellion that began as far back as the beginning of the Soviet Union. Unlike their brother culture the rivetheads (industrial rock listeners), the believed in two things: Communism and Anti-Capitolism! They believed everyone should share the wealth they had by spreading it, they detested of the capitolist economy because of the practice which meant to make it so everyone would be in the snake pit competing for a place in life even if it meant tearing each other apart and letting the little guy suffer. Their motto was 'Don't fight for the rich, take the fight to the rich!' Their slogan is simple, riot against the man and use chaos to keep the big wigs at bay. Unfortunately, anarchy leads to monotheistic governments which means criminals rule the town then move on just to have another gang come along and take over! Anarchy means to invoke criminal rights, the right to massacre, the right to rape, the right to slaughter, the right to create hell on earth! Anarchy is a cousin to Revolutionism, one for chaos the other for order.

Oct 2010

Gift for Alan and Jennifer Stearn

well I made this piece and did get a photo before grouting but of all things forgot to take it after grouting. I grouted in black and the colors popped. The frame was old and I just distressed it a bit and hope that it works well in their home

Made with many of my pottery pieces

Bead necklaces from my moms jewelry

stained glass

broken plates

sliced agate

old picture frame

gemstones

beads

ceramic and glass tiles

The tree of life for their new beginning, the heart for them and many little objects that have wonderful meanings and will get a "new beginning" in their home
