GEORGE W LOWERY HOUSE: Oakland County physician George W. Lowry (1850-1922) purchased this lot and a medical practice from Dr. William A. Upjohn in 1887. In 1892-1894 he built one of Hasting's finest residences, which also housed his medical office. The assymetrical composition, stately turret, decorative bargeboards and spindlework typify Queen Anne architecture. In 1922, Dr. Haroutoune A. Adrounie (1882-1936) purchased the house and Lowry's practice. Dr. Adrounie's wife, Dorothy, lived in the house until her death in 1988.
These are just some shots of my new bed! You can probably tell I'm a little fond of Hello Kitty.
Those awful blinds are gonna go at some point.

The Lego Gymnasts have been told to stay in bed and rest (they have a Strep Throat and a cold). However, the doctor failed to specify what bed to rest on, so I caught them napping on the trampoline bed :-) They hate resting and would rather be training but they need to get their strength back first.
The nearest you are ever likely to get to a lingerie shot.
(And no, I don't really go to bed with wig, makeup and boobs on. I just had the nightie to hand and thought it would be fun to pose with it whilst I still had all my 'stuff' on.)
I have been setting up an area for Eleanor to play house. This is the bed that is seen upon entering the room.
For a quick change into an adult quest room, the Care bears and sleeping bags can be quickly pulled off and put into a closet.
This is the third one of these simple platform beds Darren and I have built. I think that building stuff relieves stress by forcing you to focus on the moment, which is probably why we have been drawn to these projects recently. This one is a twin size "daybed," and will serve as an extra kid-sleeping or tv-watching spot in our bedroom. Only a couple more bed spots left in the house... then it's on to yoga for stress management!
She requested a shot same as Robyn so here it goes...modified the angle a bit. Did you notice that the lamp is still at the frame same as Robyns shoot? Hehe

How do I edit?
Rule 3: Get everything correct in editing camera raw and the minor details in photoshop.
one of the things that scare me the most is getting to a point where i don't recognize the girl in the mirror.
I'm finally in Facebook! :) I'd love you forever if you liked my page. - www.facebook.com/juliapuigphotography
Here is the final photo of the custom bed. Similar, but with a few tweaks to make it look more mission/rustic and less urban/ikea!
It's a California King size, and wow, is it big! I wish I had enough doll room to keep it for myself-- as it is, I barely had enough room on my teeny table to photograph it, lol!
