Australia is suffering a major climatic disaster. Those infernal fires are of gigantic proportions, that are hard to imagine for most of us. Climate change is real. Young people have realized and are shouting for help, but sadly, politicians seem to don't care. In Mexico our ignorant president are supporting fossil fuels instead of renovable energies, which is a tremendous error for our future. Hope we can make a change before this is unavoidable.

Happy St. Barbara’s Day! In my mining region, many workers, even if they are not miners or firefighters, celebrate this saint on November 4. (or the day before :-) as I happily did yesterday with my ex-collaborators 😄)

Simkha has stopped sleeping in the dog's place at night and has moved to my bed. At first he sits on my chest, demanding affection, and then moves to the free part of the bed.

These flower beds are nicely tended to as they face the afternoon sun. This photo is taken with an Infra Red converted compact camera.
Lovely to see so much life in a public pond. With quite high banks it was quite a challenge to get low to the water for this shot. Camera and lens very close to a dunking.
Bella settling in her furry bed ready for a busy morning of sleeping until I return home to serve lunch! She loves to have her chin on the side of the bed so she can watch for a while, usually looking very sad to make me feel guilty for going out.
