Australia is suffering a major climatic disaster. Those infernal fires are of gigantic proportions, that are hard to imagine for most of us. Climate change is real. Young people have realized and are shouting for help, but sadly, politicians seem to don't care. In Mexico our ignorant president are supporting fossil fuels instead of renovable energies, which is a tremendous error for our future. Hope we can make a change before this is unavoidable.

Somehow this bed reminds me of my first Road trip in USA. I had landed in NY, took the bus to Washington DC, flew down to Orlando...
And then drove all the way to San Francisco.
This hotel room reminds me of that Road trip in USA in 2015.
Later in 2017 I drove Route 66 and in 2019... well, check my RL pics! ;)

My glasses.....their reflection was bright & shiny hanging on the bed that AM. I love my glasses, I certainly wouldn't see well without them.
Faith is just shy of 1 year old and she's on my bed here. She doesn't know she can get up there by herself or that she can jump off either. It's what I call the "safe zone" because she can't get into any trouble. =) Not that she's a bad girl... but she tends to love to chew up paper.

Here is the final photo of the custom bed. Similar, but with a few tweaks to make it look more mission/rustic and less urban/ikea!
It's a California King size, and wow, is it big! I wish I had enough doll room to keep it for myself-- as it is, I barely had enough room on my teeny table to photograph it, lol!
In Paris, under the bridges where the hot air of the subway air conditioning systems is discharged, the homeless are stationed with their cardboard beds looking for a bit of warmth. But the system tries to send them away and when the street sweepers come to clean the streets, even those poor cartons are swept away.
Drip drip drip through the ceiling onto the two beds here … the stuffing inside the mattress rots away first, leaving the springs poking up against the sheets, which somehow hold on. Fascinating stuff, if a little disgusting.
