The same tulip from another angle. I found the yellows in the colour image too garish, but wow.... invert that or play up the black and white and it's visually interesting.

This is a large portrait, 8.5 x 6.5 inches on board. The label on the back reads "A Portrait by Windsor-Spice 1 Station Road, Redhill." I've no means of dating this but judging from the look and the other photos I acquired in the same lot it has to be pre-1950s.
April 27, 2017 - The rose bush next to the apartment where my wife and I live has been producing some beautiful flowers this spring. Today's photo of the day is a red rose next to a rose bud on a sunny Thursday morning.
This was a beautiful shoot with a very talented violinist. This amazing young woman not only proved to be a gifted model, but treated me to my own private concert throughout the entire shoot.
My camera has bought me the most amazing opportunities, led me to, and treated me to unforgettable moments and has simply changed my life. I don't know where I would be now if I hadn't found photography, and let it change my life the way that it has.

This beautiful old home is along Mt. Vernon Springs Road in Chatham County, North Carolina, west of Pittsboro, the county seat. It is part of a very nice-looking cattle farm. Understandably, a number of plants pretty well block the view of the house from the road, and vice versa -- a clearer shot would have required trespassing.
