This is Mendarièn.
He's a powerful planetary spirit or earth god. Calm and strong. He adopted a race of wonderful people because he felt drawn towards them and gradually loved them dearly.
The inspiration for his faceup comes from the Greenman mask. A very interesting concept, and first for me.
Mendarièn is a Soom Beast. <3
Veritas RS III Prototype - Böblingen
Such a sick car!
It's insanely loud and it looks just brutal.
It set off the fire alarm in the whole building while reving! :D
I hope you like this shot. It was'nt easy to take a picture without people in it.

A beast from below and so on - inspired by current HF wave (don't own any of those sets though). More on my blog.
"Take hope from the heart of man, and you make him a beast of prey.”
-- Marie Louise De La Ramee
They should pray I never lose hope.
"Wolverine. I hear you are quite an animal."
I had this custom done for a month or something I think but I am finally posting now. It's Beast mainly how he looks in X-men the last stand played by Kelsey Grammer who is the best Beast and not that piece of shit that was in First Class. I also really dig his outfit.
I sculpted a little bit onto the generic long hair and also the hairs on his face. The whole head was yellow before but was completely painted and sculpted besides the eyes.
The whole torso and arms was sculpted with the jacket made of etape.
I don't remember where the legs are from, I think either a cmf agent minifig or I got it at a thrift store but I really liked the knee pad printed and used it and kept the pockets cause they look cool with it.
If you want to see him with Wolverine check out my instagram, but he'll be getting his own photo later.
Also nothing to do with this but RIP Adam West, truly an unfortunate surprise, will miss him.
What do you think!?
I don't actually call my truck that, but it sure turns heads everywhere it goes. Out in the middle of nowhere, though, attention's not really an issue. The funniest interaction was when someone stopped me on the highway... they saw the exhaust/intake pipe for the heat on the back of the truck and wanted to know if it was a smoker.
This photo was taken in the Owyhee Mountains beyond the Succor Creek State Natural Area in Oregon. From that spot nestled up against the base of a cliff, I could see for miles in every direction, with only one other vehicle... just a tiny speck way off in the distance. Earlier that day, the couple had waved hello as they passed by me while I was walking around after driving the truck up a long and steep incline..
If you look closely, you can see some of the truck's dashboard instrumentation. Seeing that reminds me about what someone said. While stopping for gas in a really small town, a local policeman pulled up, rolled down his window, and shouted, "Wow! You've got more electronic gear in there than I have in my squad car! I probably should've taken that as an invitation to chat with him for a minute, but after days out in the wilderness alone, I wasn't feeling in a particularly talkative mood yet.
It has been put through the paces on some demanding terrain... this summer I busted off half of the rear bumper.
That other thing that I notice in this image and many others is something called lens compression. Some of the rock formations look fairly close when reality they are miles away.

Thinking about new themes, one of my favourite subjects are luxury cars. I told my cousin Yousif about being interested to photo shoot his SL500 when I return to Kuwait. I decided to do it indoors since the weather is hot in the summer. The garage is in the basement of their house, located in Bayan, south of Kuwait City. The challenge was getting shots without showing other cars nearby and some columns. I was changing angles alot around the car, moving the umbrellas also.
Technical concerns:
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L
Two Speedlite 580EX with two umbrellas for reflection.
Editing:
Adobe Lightroom for color and lighting enhacement.
Adobe Photoshop to remove one hot spot.
