"Vous devez être le changement que vous voulez voir dans ce monde."
"We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do."
Mahatma Gandhi

Check out the latest print of the week; see the top of the page for links.
It's rather hard to tell but I did in fact make the giant paintbrush, it's made from a roll of gold wrapping paper and the brush part is made out of cardboard, I'll post a close-up shot below.
Hope you're all enjoying your week!

*Working Towards a Better World
This work is an abstract interpretation of my friend, Michael's work:

about which I totally agree, there is enough room in this world for all of us, it requires love, tolerance, equality, the ability to share, care and embrace our differences. We must not let fear overtake our sanity and intelligence.
These works are based upon Mad Caddies - Souls for Sale
lyrics
There's something different in the world today
Looking for the words but I can't explain
I feel the worst is drawing near, feeding on our fear
Another cry from a broken home
Another soul that will walk alone
I said just one more life that will be swept away
And this is the price we pay
[Chorus:]
From the hills of California to the streets of Berlin
To the clubs in London town
Tell me where have our souls have gone
And where can they be found
All the way to Venezuela down to Sao Paulo
Then back up to Montreal
Tell me where have our souls gone
And where they can be found... Ey!
Picked up the paper and I read this morning
Another twenty people dead no warning
Bombs go off and ignite the hate globally
It perpetuates the air is thick and the skies are burning
As the war machine keeps on turning
Just one more life that will be swept away
And this is the price we pay
[Chorus:]
(Waoooh)
(Ooooh, Ooohoooh)
We drop a rhythm so we feel alright
Open our minds so we let in the light
I wanna feel love I wanna feel love I want to feel it tonight
We keep it moving so we don't get lost
Release the pressure so our our hearts don't pop
Keep looking forward to a brand new day
Where we don't have to say
[Chorus:]
(Won't you tell me, won't you tell me this time
I want to knooow)
Thank you Mikki for allowing me to share your theme today! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜
I have no particular talent or skill. I also am not a people person. Not one bit. However, I’d still like to put as much happiness and light into the world as I can. I try to live my life being kind to others, even when I don’t feel like doing it.
I’m not into toxic positivity and realize the world can be a dark place, but we can still live in the light despite that. I know it’s not much, but I hope that some of what I post brings others some of the joy capturing photos brings me.

Nape Nape Beach
Napenape boasts some impressive cliffs of strikingly fine white limestone. These were formed by the deposits of microscopic marine organisms in shallow oceans surrounding a partly emerged and low-lying New Zealand continent area around 35 million years ago.

Our STREETteam had the pleasure to photograph Sara McKinney, a future yoga instructor and logistic specialist. She and her family plan to relocate to Tennessee next year as we work to build the yoga & wellness program! Additionally, she sews as one way to unleash her creative energy. Her pants are hand sewn! She loved our Home GROWN Strap™ and now is the proud owner of a custom crocheted yoga strap! We exchanged ideas, contact info and look forward to our next meeting already!
Wellness workshops and educational retreats will be offered as a way for participants to learn about and develop a firm commitment to self-care and optimal health practices that they can bring back home. At SWSI, program participants will be educated with a philosophy that wellness is not something that someone just "does". SWSI will teach that wellness is a way of life that involves proper nutrition, exercise and stress-reduction techniques as well as balance in other areas of life. Nutritionists and Registered Dietitians will work closely with the agricultural team creating educational programs for individuals, groups and families with children to address wellness issues through classes, workshops and hands on events that will provide opportunities for people to reconnect with the Earth and where and how food is produced. All meals served in the dining hall and café will be prepared on site addressing personal health issues.

Lake Ellesmere / Te Waihora is located in the Canterbury Region of the South Island of New Zealand.
