You know guys this image is one of my favorite so far..doesn't matter how many images You've taken.... sometimes you need to rethink your point of view...for this pic I walked into to lagoon about 40 meters the water was 1,5 meter deep and then I took the shot from there...after I did it, it was obvious, but first I looked for the regular beach shots!
Always do think another way around..

With all the grey, wet weather we are experiencing in the UK, I thought I’d post a holiday snap of our local galaxy... taken from a much warmer latitude.
It was quite breezy at the time, and low clouds were skidding across the sky. To get this amount of clear star field, I had to manually blend two exposures and mask out areas of cloud. Photoshop did a great job of aligning the stars so I did not get a double image due to the Earth’s rotation.

Equipment: Nikon D7000, Nikkor 10-24mm @10mm, ISO 3200, F3.5 30sec. Manfrotto Befree travel tripod
Post-production: 2 images, manually blended to reveal cloudless sky. Used masked curve layers to balance exposure between foreground and sky. A final curve layer used to colour balance sky (concave curve for the red channel)
