Hey guys! After a couple of months off from SL (blame my crazy RL) I decided to log in for a few days and check around...Of course, I update my avi a lil bit. I miss this world so much and I miss y'all!
I usually don't like sun and shadows over my street art photos but I rather liked the dappled shade and sunlight on this gorgeous piece by Be Free that has been painted on Edgars Creek in Reservoir.

Aurora overlooking one of the once bustling fishing ports. These abandoned ports show how much the fishing industry has declined in the past 20 years,
So this was taken in the Westfjord's of Iceland. The Kp index was fairly high at a 5 if I remember correctly. It's a 3 portrait image panorama which I didn't think would work out without masking and alignment trouble due to the aurora moving in the sky, but all merged on the first attempt to my surprise.
I was in awe of the colours being presented on this night, along with the obvious green and pink I also witnessed orange, magentas, violets and blues.

I didn't realize I had a photo from this bay with a sunstar and also on closer inspection - bad habit of not changing from my reading glasses to my computer glasses- I see there is a figure standing atop of the rock formation that really gives it scale. I would not delete the previous photo as the faves and comments mean a great deal to me...
I was ecstatic getting two sunsets from this wet and extremely windy holiday and obviously took the opportunity to grab them..
The other landscapes I got on this holiday were a chance for me to start using my old heavy manfrotto pro tripod that I had put away because of the weight of it. I bought a manfrotto befree but knew it would not be up to the winds you get on the cliffs and beaches of Northwest Cornwall.
It was a good holiday despite the mostly inclement weather..
Just returned from a week long business trip to the West coast of Ireland. I decided to take my camera on this trip and my Manfrotto Befree tripod along with a few filters.
This was taken at Rosses Point to the West of Sligo. Used a Lee 3 stop ND graduated filter.
It was a toss up between a pint of Guinness or driving for some photography and this time, the latter won the day!
