A shot from 'Batman' mountain, South Eastern Iceland. The sea was absolutely raging wild here this day, coupled with some great light at dawn, plus a calm sky makes for an image of two halves

Brunnhorn is a little-known, jagged mountain in south-east Iceland. It often nicknamed the Batman Mountain due to its distinctive shape, giving it the appearance of bat ears. Brunnhorn is most often seen to the east of Vestrahorn, a much more well-known mountain.

A long lens was used to pick out the details here of the lesser known peak which was quite a challenge as you can see with the sea it was seriously windy, taken at sunrise with one of the only bits of light I got illuminating this peak.

Jeez do I fucking love the Arkham games. They're easily one of my favorite game franchises, and Arkham Knight is no exception. I've been playing it for 3 days straight now. My overall thoughts are that i think the story is pretty good, but I feel like it needed way more creepy hallucinations from Scarecrow, like in the first game. I get that what we did get was meant specifically for Batman's fear, but I would have loved more of the stuff we got in Asylum. My other big gripe is the Batmobile. The driving itself took a bit of getting used to, but the fucking tank combat really pushed me over the edge. It would be fine if it wasn't as prevalent. Like half the fucking missions are destroying drones, and it just doesn't feel like Batman. Other than that, it's still Batman Arkham, combat is tight, as is predator, and Gotham feels great (so. many. Easter eggs :3) and I'm still having fun even after I beat the main story. As of writing I have not gotten 100%, so I haven't gotten to the true end, but I still feel very comfortable recommending this game to longtime Batman fans, and anyone who enjoyed any of the previous Arkham games.

Happy Fly Day Friday everyone! This Batman Fly was busily feeding in the garden today!

The Batman Fly or Batman Hoverfly (Myathropa florea) is commonly found in wooded areas across the UK and will visit gardens. This fairly large yellow and black hoverfly has an abdomen that ranges from dull to bright lemon yellow, with black markings. The most distinctive feature is a dark mark on the thorax that resembles the Batman logo, though some are more bat-shaped than others. They feed on the pollen and nectar of a range of flowers, from blackthorn in spring to umbellifers in summer and ivy in autumn. Their aquatic larvae develop in water-filled holes and crevices in trees, but adults can lay eggs in just about any container with some standing water. They've even been known to use compost and wet cow dung.

I liked the polaroid... Even though nobody else did (a)

Added matching capes to the original “Every Batman is Awesome” creation.

The only species in its genus, Myathropa florea is a large and distinctive hoverfly found commonly throughout the UK. Mypthropa florea is known as the Dead Head Fly, and also the Batman Hoverfly due to the distinctive pattern on the thorax, which is thought to resemble a skull or the Batman logo! It is also known as the Yellow Haired Sun Fly due to its' distinctive yellow hairs!

Myathropa florea is widespread and often common throughout Britain. It can be seen from May to October (peaking July/August) in well wooded areas, and it favours large umbel flowers, but is often seen at Ivy flowers in late summer. Larvae occur in rot holes or cavities of decaying leaves amongst roots at the base of trees.

Happy Bat-Day! This is the 75th anniversary of Batman, and today apparently is the official “Batman Day” (Which coincidentally is the same day SDCC starts, but I’m sure that’s nothing).

Here’s a little snapshot of my intended build; the Batcave. I’m unable to finish the entire creation since I’m lacking enough sloped dark bley bricks; however I couldn’t let my Batmobile go to waste. This creation will not be finished however since I need to start sorting bricks for my move back to university and my dorm. Incidentally, don’t expect another Batcave anytime soon, since it’s one of the few things I absolutely hate building; chiefly because I consider it overused (There’s tons and tons of Batcave builds out there).

Anyways enjoy Batman Day, the sudden holiday I learned about on Sunday.

Heres my second version of batman, all I did was make the cowl look more like it does in the game and add his arm spike things.I also gave this fig a custom Batclaw and explosive gel gun (that youve probably seen before :P). I hope this is the last version I do of him

Here's another picture of my first Batman MOC in a long while. (It's not done yet but it will be in a few days, I hope.)

Batman, Catwoman, Max Shreck, and the Penguin

Just threw a batman together to make this quick edit. Really liked the trailer. Everyone looks great. Gordon and Batman look awesome. What did you guys think??

Hey everyone!

I'm pretty excited to show you my Arkham Knight Batman! This has to be my 1000th attempt at trying to make this guy and I gotta say I'm finally happy with him.

He has a ton of sculpted and 3D details, most notably his longer ears, utility belt & gauntlets. One of my favorite things about this guy is the way the shoulder armor goes over the cape just like the game. This was archived by making the shoulder armor it's own separate piece (similar to the samurai shoulder armors Lego makes).

I went all out on this one, so I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Batman: Arkham Asylum from Video Games

Happy Halloween, ya filthy animals. Just played (and finished) Arkham Asylum for the first time this month, and figured I'd make a figbarf just in time for Halloween. I obviously modified Poison Ivy, but the rest are all semi-purist. Hope you enjoy!

“Don’t talk like one of them. You’re not! Even if you’d like to be. To them, you’re just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don’t, they’ll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it’s a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. I’ll show you. When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they’ll eat each other. See, I’m not a monster. I’m just ahead of the curve” ~ The Joker

Well its hard to believe that the year is almost over, only 30 days left before I begin a new project for 2014, its been a blast.
