A sneak peak into the bathroom of my first modular house. I'm really pleased with the sink but moderate happy about the toilet.
The mirror is custom chromed piece by bricksonwheels.
A few years ago I wrote a paper about the Stimson-Green mansion, on Seattle's First Hill. They let me roam around freely and take pictures for the paper. I was just telling someone about them the other day so I thought I'd upload a few of them.
This photo was in with the Stimson-Green photos, so it must be one of the bathrooms in the house, but I don't actually remember seeing it there. Ha.
I finally finished my guest bathroom renovation! It's all-new: tile, beadboard wainscoting, trimwork, mirror, sink, toilet.

My bathroom door has two bolts, the usual one which is operated by a fixed knob inside the bathroom and another which is operated by a removable key outside the bathroom. There is no way to operate this bolt from inside the bathroom. It was there when we moved in eighteen years ago – what do you think it's for?
I bought these vintage bathroom ads on Ebay and after a month they finally arrived. I love how these turned out. Bathroom is nowhere finished, this is the only area that is somewhat done.

Have you seen a more calming bathroom? The blue was so cool I just had to shoot it. Luckily, I was in the bathroom by myself. This blue bathroom was indeed the women's bathroom at the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA). I was quite pleased to visit on a day where there was no admission fee and also joined a Docent tour at the facility.
Apologies in advance for my delays in visiting your photostreams as I've been drowning in wedding plans.
Still pretty much a WIP. i think I bit off more than I could chew with this one, but it was a noble experiment! And I've learnt what not to do, in future. Especially when it comes to things like trim, beadboard, and long narrow rooms!
The tub was a MyScene tub with the rails removed (I still need to sand off the white plastic spots where the rails attached). The sink is Barbie. The toilet was a 1:6 scale model which i repainted. The linen cupboard was a 1:12 scale dollhouse item. The toilet brush, slippers, bath brush, and most of the small items are Re-ment. The toilet roll I made. The toiler roll holder came from a Barbie house. The bay window is a 1:12 scale piece from Houseworks. The laundry hamper was a Madeline hamper I spray painted. The dressing gown, curling iron, hair dryer, and hair straightener are LIV, and the smart phone came from etsy.

I get enormous satisfaction in the way I setup our trash container on the bathroom. I designed it with a few things in mind:
Trash containers in the home or office perform best without a lid. Nothing should interfere with your ability to throw something away. Operating a lid with your hand or foot is often clumsy, loud, and sometimes take a remarkable amount of effort. If smell from the trash becomes a problem, then take it out frequently or change your purchasing and eating habits.
All trash containers should have a bag or liner. It’s easy to remove all contents at once. And anything that is wet is then trapped and easily removed. Here I’m using the most basic type of plastic bag from the grocery store. People often have a collection of these bags. Reusing them for this purpose is great.
I constructed this container out of something so simple: a paper bag, cut to size for that size of plastic bag, and with the base reinforced with the bit that I cut off. And naturally it matches other aspects of our bathroom (like the foot lifter device for our slightly-too-high toilet).
