A Banda Batalá de Brasília é uma banda de percussão formada só por mulheres que conta atualmente com cerca de 140 integrantes. Surdos, dobras, repiques e caixas dão forma ao som da banda, parte do cenário musical da cidade desde 2003. Started in 2007 in Paris, the Batala percussion group plays Afro-Brazilian / Samba-Reggae rhythms, and has now spread to several cities in France, Belgium, USA etc.
