When the Basics dolls first came out I didnt really get that many. For a while I only had 1, now I'm surpised that I already have 10! Even though the dolls are Black Label they remind me more of the old playline dolls. I miss the days when every doll had a unique look and now I am getting tired of the same face on every doll. The Basics dolls looks are so unique and beautiful.

This is #3, with a DG body.

She is modeling a Louos blouse, Barbie skirt, purse, shoes and bracelet, and DG Boogie Beach sunglasses.

Just the basics, that's all you need. These colors at one time were all you got in a box of crayons, but it was enough to open a child's imagination.

Red, yellow, green and blue seed beads in an alternating kite shaped design with a black background, woven in flat peyote stitch. A black beaded toggle to connect the ends. Measuring 7 1/2" long by 5/8" wide.

More of my second hand shopping finds. I pulled these glittery denim pants out of a 25 cent bin! They are being modeled by Barbie Basics #7 from Collection 2. (Anyone recognize their origin?)
