PERSONAL FUN FACT: I love how American Girl sold so many basic separates for Bitty Baby in later years. When I was growing up, we really didn't have options like this Basics Skirt Set. Most of Bitty Baby's items were about $24 back then in the late 90s/early 2000s because they came with so much stuff (like a whole outfit, shoes, an accessory for Bitty Bear, an accessory for Bitty, and a book). But being a kid with a very small allowance, it took me a long time to save up for one ensemble. Had this cheaper alternative been available to me back then, I'm sure Bitty would have gotten more clothes. I'm so glad that I found this at the local flea market in 2018, from the same sellers my Bitty Twins dolls originated from. Sadly the matching skirt was nowhere to be found in the container of American Girl clothes. But this bodysuit works well on its own. That's the wonderful thing about baby dolls--they can get away with wearing diapers as bottoms and not always sporting shoes!
Woah! She is like that SIS doll that I like - but better! Apparently I have heard that these Barbie Basics 2.5 are articulated.
I don't like articulated dolls generally, but we will see.
And look at the cool earrings! I wonder if they have earring holes? I saw someone put post earrings in one of the first barbie basics but how they did it I don't know and they are too expensive to mess with!
