This basic oxygen furnace sits in front of the former McLouth Steel plant in Trenton Mi. It was one of the first BOP furnaces in commercial production in the United States. The nearby sign used to read McLouth Steel, Pioneers in Steel Technology. Today with the mill closed only the street lights shine on this furnace.

Well, this is just about as simple as it gets. 18ga wire is shaped into a drop and earring in one. Wrapped and woven within the drop, one faceted briolette of Pink Amethyst sparkles. Some inclusions in these Amethysts, but still very lovely.
