As part of the White Collar work force, the White "V-Neck" undershirt is a fashion essential. So I decided to start a line of clothes based on the undershirt idea. My prototype will be worn under dresses.
"The Basic Undershirt" Details:
This Puffy Sleeve shirt is a lovely brown and orange pinstripe on blue cotton from Porto, Portugal. It has a rounded collar. On the front is a lace accent. Not totally satisfied with the trim selection at our local craft store, I picked up a white Nylon Trim and sewed two pieces of the trim together. Then I embroidered a cream braided chain stitch to it. Final touches are 3 light pink buttons.

The compoleted basic brick. I need to adjust a few bricks here and there, but overall not a bad build.

I've changed her quite a bit from her original doll. First of all, I took off her cardigan. I personally love it, but I don't think it suits her personality. Then I took her hair out of its style. I couldn't stand the victory rolls, so after a lot of washing and experimenting, I put it in a high ponytail. and fluffed it up. Then I replaced her belt with an old charm bracelet. As much as I loved her original belt, it didn't sit right. Then I spent at least 20 minutes this morning posing her for this picture!
