Saturday 23rd August at Middle Wallop was model aeroplane day. Power seemed to be rubber band or small engine - but from what I could see - no Radio Controls allowed.

So it's launch and fingers-crossed for a safe flight. Many of the best ones soared high and drifted for hundreds of yards.

Grey haired men marching off into the far distance was a sign of great success.

This is the new building by Renzo Piano in construction near Lindon Bridge. Once completed, it'll be London's tallest skyscraper. With only 38 of 80 floors done, it already looks massive.

I knew they'd line up eventually - I'm only glad it was sooner rather than later; they were destined to get very messy!
