With it been Manchester Pride day Metrolink has once again brought back #RainbowTram, here are the only two working together on the Eccles to Ashton service.
A companion piece to Dave's.
Despite being in possession of both GPS and a map, Mr Thair and I managed to walk in entirely the wrong way along the river for over an hour (didn't notice it was on our right, not left).
But it didn't matter, because the sun was shining and we found some cool overgrown stuff.
(Gmaps suggests we might have even strayed into Wales briefly on our travels.)

Nobody has to know. (Imogen Heap: Tidal) Today is a really good day.
Yesterday I feel like I humiliated myself, and when I humiliate myself, I get a bit aggressive and angry. So after I spat out my dummy for a while, I decided what's done is done and I can't change what's in the past, so there you go. Then I went to do KenKen Puzzles and listened to Imogen Heap. The one Imogen Heap song that I'm listening to a lot right now is called "Between Sheets". All the way through the making of "Ellipse" album, she Vlogged to update fans on it's status. Here's the Vlog (which was when the album was complete) where she talks about why "Between Sheets" ended up smack bang in the middle.
The reason why today is a good day is because my friend got notification from the Home Office that she is now a Permanent British Resident. Which is pretty much the awesomest news I've heard in a while. I told her if she was denied residency that I'd marry her so she could stay. (JK.) I'm really hoping to get to London in a few weeks so I can see her and Jasmin and maybe Scarleth too! I wrote her a card (I really like handwritten cards and notes, and I think it's a bit more personal than a Tweet or a FB Post) and didn't die in the queue at the Post Office..
I hope everyone has a good Bank Holiday Weekend. The weather isn't supposed to be great, but it wasn't supposed to be great all week and it's been alright.
A walk down Solihull Lane on a Saturday afternoon, on lockdown, the VE Day 75 Bank Holiday Weekend.
As far as Streetsbrook Road in Shirley, then up Olton Road and back up Stratford Road towards Robin Hood Island.
Shops on Solihull Lane near the Birmingham / Solihull border.
The Hair Wizard Laura Kate Hair Modern Flair, Bella Vie Hair Design and Maggies Convenience Lifestyle Express.
We found it in Hardwick Hall: dry, beautiful, but quite dark, especially in this sort of weather.
Great architecture and furniture, beautiful tapestries and a very interesting history.

I dont think Gwennon did too bad considering she had never done an agility course and neither myself or the man in the hat were doing it with her. Lou and Madz took her round the course. I was well chuffed
I bought a rather nice malachite egg from here. They also have a gorgeous quartz crystal on display, worth a visit just to see.
