The Padma is one of the major rivers of Bangladesh.It can be reached through Pabna district and Kushtia.During the winter season and on it becames dry,people of different lifestyle used to pass the river to connect with Kushtia.In this album i am trying show the lifestyle Padma people.

Victory Day
Victory day (Bengali: বিজয় দিবস Bijôy Dibôs) is a national holiday in Bangladesh celebrated on December 16 to commemorate the victory of the Bangladesh forces over the Pakistani forces in the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. The Commanding officer of the Pakistani Forces General AAK Niazi surrendered with his forces to the allied forces of Bangladesh, which marked the end of the 9 month-long Bangladesh Liberation War and 1971 Bangladesh genocide and official secession of East Pakistan into Bangladesh.
There are millions of people in our country are living very poorly and where the houses in bad condition. As our country is a land of river. So it is very usual to have a large area in the river bank. The people they don’t have permanent habitation or the people they have lost their houses in river-bank erosion which is an endemic and recurrent natural hazard in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh National Zoo is known as Dhaka Zoo. It was being started at High court area of Dhaka with a limited number of spotted deer, monkeys and some other types of animals in 1947. A master plan was approved with a view to establish a zoological garden at Mirpur in 1960. Dhaka Zoo has a rich collection of animals, birds and wildlife of both local and foreign origin. It has 2150 types of vertebrata belonging to 191 species. These include: 551 mammals of 64 species, 73 reptiles of 15 species, 104 aquarium fishes belonging to 32 different species and 1500 birds of 91 species. The Dhaka Zoo authority has taken up some other projects to improve its overall standard. These include: turning the internal environment of the Zoo into a Safari Park, introducing battery run cars for children, physically disabled and older people to facilitate their visit, establishment of a children park, a dolphin corner and a butterfly park inside the zoo.

One of the war criminal received death sentence today. He Killed hell a lot of people and forcefully turned about thousands of people from their native religion Hindu to Muslim during the liberation war in 1971 with Pakistan. Those who denied, were tortured and murdered by this animal.
