Bahaddarhat bazar is a populer marketplace in Chittagong, Bangladesh .

Best local market, you can find here almost everything. You can find all grocery, fish, meats, vegetables and everything in one market here. basically it's not a market, it's a bazar. Not good parking facilities here. The environment is not up to the mark to do shopping with convenience. You found here everything is cheaper then anywhere else. You just have to bargainer. This kachabazar is one of the oldest markets in this part of world where you will find every single daily necessary items. But as usual, for local people we can deal with environment, foreigners need to be with masks and suits to protect from dirt and filthy environment.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (S2-AJX) “Awchin Pakhi” climbs out of Toronto's Pearson Runway 05 in the warm evening light.

Delivered in 2018, this aircraft serves as part of Biman’s modern long-haul fleet powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines. The name translates to “The Unknown Bird,” reflecting the poetic naming tradition of the airline’s Dreamliners.

Life at haor (wetlands). Tanguar haor (Bengali: টাঙ্গুয়ার হাওর), (also called Tangua haor), located in the Dharmapasha and Tahirpur upazilas of Sunamganj District in Bangladesh, is a unique wetland ecosystem of national importance and has come into international focus. Explored #433 (02 Jan, 2011)

I started travelling internationally right after finishing college when I took a teaching position in Kuwait. Over the decades of my career, my partner and I have continued to work in or explore different parts of the world. More recently, since taking early retirement, we manage to spend around five months away during Canadian winters.

I kept track of all the places with a blogged list. In 2018, I decided it would be useful to find a single, personal image to represent each country I've visited. I have put these into a single Flickr Album. A photograph may occasionally be updated if we have a return visit.

These are organized alphabetically. You should be able to go forward or background from the image's main page where you can also see the names, and dates. In most cases the EXE date is correct. Some images may have been scanned and dates approximated.
