Die Gulden Leeuw wurde als ozeantüchtiges Schiff mit Eisklasse entworfen und gebaut. In Verbindung mit der gewählten Takelage ist es ein schnelles, solides Schiff. Es ist ein Schiff, das richtig segeln kann. Die Takelage dient nicht nur als Zierde, sondern verfügt über gute Segeleigenschaften.
Die Gulden Leeuw ist ein Dreimast-Topsegel-Schoner. Der vordere Mast ist ebenfalls mit Rahe aufgetakelt. Diese sehr vielseitige Takelage kombiniert die Vorteile eines Rahenseglers mit denen eines längs aufgetakelten Schiffes.
The Gulden Leeuw was designed and built as an ocean-going ship with ice class. In combination with the chosen rigging, it is a fast, solid ship. It is a ship that can sail properly. The rigging is not just decorative, but has good sailing characteristics.
The Gulden Leeuw is a three-masted topsail schooner. The front mast is also yard-rigged. This very versatile rigging combines the advantages of a square-rigged ship with those of a fore-and-aft rigged ship.

Die Molenfeuer Warnemünde sind zwei kleine Leuchttürme auf der Warnemünder West- und Ostmole. Als Lateralzeichen bezeichnen sie von der Mecklenburger Bucht kommend die Einfahrt in die Unterwarnow.
