Not long now until I'll have more balls to juggle than I've had for quite some time. I'm cheers-ing my last week of having a big fat holiday. New challenges ahead that are so exciting ... and a bit scary at the same time.
And on the subject of sunsets here's a link to my latest timelapse collection rocking sunset :)
Oh, crystal ball, crystal ball,
Save us all, tell me life is beautiful,
Mirror, mirror on the wall.
Oh, crystal ball, hear my song,
I'm fading out, everything I know is wrong,
So put me where I belon

Hi, Waldo, wanna play ball with me?
Hi, Clancy, wanna play Where's Waldo with me?
We can't. You know the way it works. My Dad has to hide you and I get a treat for finding you.
Ask him.
Dad! Can we play Where's Waldo?!
"Not right now!"
Then can we play ball?!
"Not right now!"
See? Wanna play ball anyway?
Wanna play Where's Waldo anyway?
(Sigh) This day is just a bummer.
"Clancy, haha, how did you get Waldo off the shelf?"
He jumped.
"Haha, such a funny pup you are. Well, since you're so well prepared, I guess we can play Where's Waldo and then go
outside to play ball."
Dad, you just blew my mind.

XV Viennese Ball was held on 20th of May 2017 at the biggest hall in Moscow called “Gostiny Dvor”.
The Viennese Ball, which takes place in Moscow annually since 2003, is not only a social event of the first order, but above all a cultural event of international standing. The Viennese Ball in Moscow has established itself as the largest ball of Russia and is today one of the most important and beautiful ball events worldwide.
Stars of the World classical art and the best philharmonic and jazz orchestras annually take part at the traditional gala concert of the Ball.
There are representatives of the international business and cultural communities, politicians, diplomats, artists of Russian, Austria and other countries among guests of the Ball.
Waiting for the ball to come at me

Lighting info - One SB-800 flash triggered by Nikon CLS - inside the ball ( $1 thing from a 2nd hand store).
Exposure: 1/250th
Aperture: f/19
Focal Length: 18 mm
Lens: Nikon 18-70mm
Camera: Nikon D200
Post Processing: Only cropping of the image as there was a bit too much black space on her side.
How did I get the angle? One foot on a ladder - the other on the opposite wall - thankful to my sense of balance from my rock climbing days.
*Since a few people have asked - the ball is from a lighting fixture - they're readily available here in Australia from second hand stores (on the shelf at the place I got this from, there were about 30 of them - all varying sizes). It is made of glass - so is somewhat fragile - has a hole and flattened base on one side - I put the flash inside the hole and sit the flat part on the bed.
My good friend Tully and his girlfriend Leah - she's an exchange student from Germany - and was leaving to go back to Germany a few days after this photo was taken. So I said I'd come and take some photos of them together before they had to be apart for many months.
Tully is an up and coming solo guitarist/singer - the same person in these 3 shots:

They're both 18 - yet their love for eachother is beautiful, like that of an old married couple, blissfully content for 60 years.
Being only 20 years old, I'm very new at the photography scene - having only shot for the past year or so.
My kindest regards and sincere thanks go out to all of you who have commented or added this photo to their favourites. It really does mean a lot to me and helps me to grow and improve as a photographer.
If this photo has attracted your attention or put a smile on your face - please have a look through my photo stream and offer any feedback you can, positive or negative - as I'm open to the wisdom and views of those with more experience than myself.
Flickr is an amazing place - never before has it been so easy to share so much creativeness and learn from eachother.
ALOHA ALL,
Whenever I come across a beautifully lit sunset full of clouds and color I like to bring out the glass ball from time to time. I find it to be a bit of a challenge to capture the sunset in the ball along with creating an appealing composition within the actual picture itself. In this picture I rushed to place the ball on the sand when the water washed up on shore resulting in a flat plane of sand which brings a good split between sharpness and bokeh in the sky. I had a few with the water washing up and hitting the ball but that was a whole nother level of challenging for me to nail that shot.

One last call for votes! Pretty please? I'm not offering free minifigures to everyone who votes, but this is your chance to prove that you don't need that sort of incentive to be helpful. :P
There's always several disgusting things lurking in those.
If you don't mind, please vote for me (by clicking "like") on ReBrick!
This is Batman. The title is a reference to Koko the gorilla, who was taught American sign language. She combined words that she knew to refer to a kitten as "all ball". I've always loved that.
Water plunges over the edge of picturesque Ball's Falls near Jordan, Ontario.
Ball's Falls is an historic ghost town in the Niagara Region, but is now part of scenic Jordan Village. It was founded after the American Revolution by a United Empire Loyalist was forced to leave his home in New York. The rock forming this waterfall is the same as that which forms Niagara Falls.
