This was a magic crystal ball that my friends gave me a long time ago, who said I guessed the future, ... it doesn't work !!!

The Dragon isn't as chubby as he looks in this photo. He weighs a bit more than in summer but in fact there still isn't much fat under all this fluff. Even the vet was suprised when she weighed him on Monday and realised that he is only slightly above his ideal weight. The Dragon feels much better now but only stayed outside for a short moment. He was only in the garden because I went out to refill the birdfeeder but it was too cold and wet for his taste and he happily returned inside wirh me.

Manhattanhenge is a special occurrence that happens 2 times a year where the sun sets half above the horizon and half below the horizon. It is special because in NYC, it aligns directly with the horizon of streets and buildings, creating a radiant glow across the north & south sides of the streets.

I took this photo the day after manhattanhenge, where the entire ball of sun is visible on the horizon.

„Der Ball“, dessen Text als Bodenarbeit in einer beidseitig lesbaren Schrift vom Eingang des Museumskomplexes bis zum Kreisverkehr auf dem Schillerplatz führt. In der Mitte des Platzes ruht eine hochpolierte, silbrig glänzende Edelstahlkugel, in der sich ihre Umgebung widerspiegelt. Sie markiert den Wendepunkt der Textschlaufe. Gleichzeitig ist sie ein monumentales skulpturales Abbild des Gedichtes, nicht wirklich ein Ball, sondern ein Denkmal für all das, was ein Ball symbolisiert.

This is Tofu having some fun with one of his favourite toys, a needle felted ball. It's getting colder outside and he spends more time indoors. This may be rather boring but most of the time he finds ways to entertain himself or he does what cats do best, he sleeps. :)
