Looking at the asymmetry of this images with the tree trunks on the right, I also see that some symmetry has been created by the leaves and the lower green hedge on the left. I liked the sloping foreground which gives some interest in detail but without dominating the overall picture. It was late afternoon and I didn't want to spoil this atmosphere by lightening the image.

Sometimes, need becomes more important than life. I took this beautiful shot at Marina Beach, Chennai where this small girl was trying to balance her life and herself to earn those few pennies.
Many recyclables like cans and plastic containers must be washed first. Hubby really stacked them up this time! Balancing act for sure!
the dude who was doing this was really talented. and to prove that he wasn't using glue... he picked up a fairly large rock and balanced it on a small round rock... it was amazing... took him less than a minute to balance it. the rocks you see here was balanced right before our eyes and everyone was pretty amazed.

09/19/2011: Another show at the Cobalt Cafe and this time it was Fireworks, Balance & Composure, Make Do And Mend, the Sheds and other local bands. This was an off-day from their tour with Polar Bear Club.
A decent number of kids showed up and showed all the bands some mad love.

Along the Mississippi River in Red Wing, Mn. along the Riverwalk is a statue by Pati Stajcsr called "Balance of Power," this statue shows a pair of eagles scrapping in a fight or mating ritual, with the artist saying they prefer the viewer to interpret which. Shot on a Pentax 6x7 using Cinestill film
