Yeah, i know, its UGLY - but i just wanted to do a quick and dirty Test before i order 100s of these Knobs and 1000s of LEDs
because driving the signal lines was blinding my µC to changes in the scan lines, I had to attach my scan line taps to the other side of the resistor arrays on the board, which meant following some traces backwards. surprisingly enough, there are solder pads everywhere, which provide convenient places to attach my new wiring.
470Ω SMT resistors provide some insurance that I won't accidentally fry the typewriter's µC, since I'm otherwise wired directly into it at the scan lines now.
Just a dark Backside of some Houses.

The summer finally came to Santa Cruz on the 25th of August. I had my share of waves from the day before, so I went this day to capture all the other people trying to cool off. The spot is called Four Mile Beach and the water temps are around 59 degrees. Air temps in the eighties were perfect for sunning on the beach.
I used my Canon 30D with an old 70-210 ef lens. Then I put my Tamron 2x extender on and locked the whole thing down to a Manfrotto 3120BPRO tripod with a 3130 head. It made panning quite easy as the surfers moved down the wave at quite a distance from me. However, I did not enjoy the hike down a mile or so carrying it. I need a carbon fiber tripod next !
