Are you one of those hikers who actually want to get out there and do something, as opposed to the outdoor types who read Outside? Then you will probably enjoy Backpacker Magazine much more. Backpacker’s been around for 30 years (they just celebrated their 30th anniversary issue) and in general, it’s a magazine that stays true to its focus, that is, providing news, gear reviews, and trip ideas for backpackers.

These kids carried piles of photocopied books taller than they were to sell to tourists. They weighed a tonne. I don't know how they did it every day. I often wondered how much they got in return for selling all of those books to tourists who were eager to have a copy of the latest Harry Potter book for a couple of dollars.
好喜歡Mc Farmers Backpackers裡的氛圍~~是旅人溫暖的家。
結束紐西蘭南島東南邊大城但尼丁Dunedin的行程，我們持續向東，開往與但尼丁Dunedin相連的半島→奧塔哥半島Otago Peninsula。
早晨離開位於丘陵地形上的backpackers，發現巧克力醬被偷了!!祝你被巧克力嗆死!哼!!幸好轉晴的天空把我拉回愉快的心情，半島上的道路完全沿著海洋，景色魅力心曠神怡，但路線非常彎曲，需要非常用心盯著整路的曲面鏡注意對向來車。
我們首先去了位於半島中央也是至高點的拉納奇城堡Larnach Castle，指參觀花園的部分，美人票價NZD$12.5，若參觀城堡+花園則要價NZD$28，城堡不大因此我們選擇只逛花園。花園整理的精緻漂亮，只是比想像中小了許多，沒花多少時間就結束城堡tour，前往我們今晚的落腳處Mc Farmers Backpackers，這是一間坐落在半山腰上面對著Broad Bay的可愛民宿，屋主很用心的佈置將房子打點的溫馨可愛，3人房每人30元一晚，客廳的大窗戶正對著海灣和對岸Dunedin高低起伏的山堧，很開闊舒適，只是這間backpacker的地理位置非常傾斜，開車進來時要特別注意安全!!
卸完行李，繼續旅程，一整天我們跑片整個半島，最北端的Royal Albatross Centre看小紅燈塔，位於半島中間的Papanui Inlet、Allans Beach、Hoopers Inlet、Sandymount、Lovers leap和Sand Fly Bay等，還在Allans Beach看到兩隻胖嘟嘟賴在沙灘上的海獅。
傍晚回到backpackers煮咖哩配啤酒賞星星~這樣的人生快哉!!
