Another view of the road-side helianthus flowers I photographed last night, just before the sun set. I really love the flare in the upper left and the highlights on the flower petals and stems near it.

I finally got within 50mm range of a squirrel! My only regret is that the focus is slightly off and his tail is a bit blurred because of 1/60 shutter speed (due to me forgetting to lock camera to 400 iso...)
Last night after dinner the backlight was very nice and I found one aspen leaf that didn't have blight ....LOL........most of my aspen have a lot of black leaves due to many rains this summer...they are a pretty tree, but really are disease prone from all all kinds of stuff.
Las placas Backlight, una tecnologÃa patentada por SAKMA, son la mejor opción para componer grandes superficies que haya que retroiluminar como este opi publicitario de gran tamaño en el Aeroport de Barcelona (Aeropuerto de Barcelona).
Backlight is the best <3

Taken in our garden with the Sigma 30/1,4 by aperture 4,0.
Good evening to all.
Better to view on black press "L".
Daffodil at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Ruth Ann and I made our first visit of the year to the botanical garden (February has been our inaugural month in recent years), taking advantage of a beautiful spring day. The shade of the Woodland Path area of the garden provided the opportunity for this shot. Giving in to knees that don't take kneeling very well these days, I sat on the path to get a low perspective. While the backlighting keeps the orange cup from shining, I really like the delicate details of the petals.
