I love going to walks in the late day in winter when little shafts of sunlight reach through the nearly bare woods. I feel like Mother Nature is pointing out little things of beauty that usually go unnoticed when it's so bleak and brown.
Honeysuckle leaves. Hurricane Henri came my way on Sunday, Aug. 22nd, thankfully it weakened a bit to Tropical Storm status. I took this photo yesterday, between a few large, sweeping bands of rain, even though the intense part of the storm had moved on. The sun peeked out briefly, yet the wind continued to swirl. So these are the undersides of these Honeysuckle leaves, being buffeted about by the tropical winds.
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.

I love how the light reflects from somewhere in the ship to light up the woman's face
