Eh. I'm not that much in love with this, but it's okay.
Choose Your background (Berlin part)
An on-going performance/photo shoot/ intervention in public space, performed
in Berlin,
on 2nd and 3rd of Oct 2007 (German Reunification Day).
Using large canvas backdrops painted in black & white each sized 150x240 cm,
Spectators were being asked to chose to stand in front of one the Backdrops:
Brandenburg Gate and Azadi (freedom) Tower in Tehran.
Amirali Ghasemi
From Rogers Park, it's quite a long train ride to Lakeview.
But Kristen's friends did make it a bit shorter with an endless stream of funny.
I'm not sure what the joke was here, but it was obviously funny, or at least expressive, enough for me to want to capture it as Uptown or Edgewater passed by in the background.

I participated in Jennibellie's November journal challenge to work on 7 backgrounds over 7 days. On the first day, I used intense pencils. Thank you, Jenniebellie for the inspiration: journalworkshops.ning.com/group/monthly-challenge?xg_sour...
A Blue Dasher dragonfly, photographed at a friend's house. Cropped to 16x9 for use as a desktop background, and flipped because I have my taskbar & icons on the left side of my screen.
72/365 Fold Up Background
Camera club portrait night tonight. Had to lug 2 Studio strobes + Stands + Tripod + Softbox + Small speedlights + Triggers etc etc to the village hall.
Set it all up and then get everyone taking photos. Guess what - I did not even taken one shot. Too busy.
Oh well test shot of the background. Very like the ones used in school photos!
