On my way to visit the Escanlante Canyon I passed by this favorite little stock pond on a side road near Delta. This pond always has a variety of water fowl in the fall and spring. This day there were a few yearly beef cows watering from it, but the stillness and light were what was special to me. The Grand Mesa is in the background. A great spring morning for a few nice shots.

"Colorful Macaw - Blurry Flight with ID" by Patti Deters. The Red-and-green Macaw (Ara chloropterus), also known as the green-winged macaw, is one of the largest and most spectacular parrot species in the world. These tropical avians are famous for their high intelligence, loud vocalizations, and the bare white patches of skin around their eyes, which actually blush when the bird gets excited or startled. In this unique artistic capture, the typical stillness of a nature portrait is traded for a dynamic explosion of movement. The flying macaw cuts through the air like a living paintbrush, its brilliant crimson head sharply defined while its colorful wings dissolve into a soft rush of turquoise, royal blue, and lime green plumage against a clean, minimalist high key background. Been a glorious day here today, spotted this rose in the garden with yesterday's rain still on it! The forecast is for frost and snow for the next week so this could be my last sighting of a rose for this year!

EDIT: This picture was seriously over-saturated and I hated it, so now it has been fixed.
This was taken in Aug 2009 with the recognisable design of the old Hanley bus station in the background.
Having had a batch of route branded Omnicities like 65037 YN06WMK for the core First Potteries 101 to Stafford, fast forward 11 years and the same vehicles are on the same service being refurbished.
Roses of my family garden. Born and raised during the reign of my grandmother. Rest in peace. Just trying to keep the tradition alive. How to not admire such beauty. Beautiful day on the second of July 2019, nature finaly comes to explode after two months of hard weather. Can't wait to pick up tomatoes!
