My father had just recently bought this car seen on May 17,1990 from a friend of mine for $400 I did the bodywork on it and he had it painted he used it for almost 2 1/2 years before he passed away then my sister and brother in law used it for a few more years until it crapped out.

You are invited to stay and browse through my stream. Here's a quick introduction to my little corner of Flickr:
Automobile Photographs: This is a very large collection of images whose primary, but not exclusive, focus is on American automotive classics. Images are organized by decade, by manufacturer, and by topics (such as convertibles, station wagons, muscle cars, etc.)
Central Illinois (excluding Springfield): Photos relating to the middle section of the "Land of Lincoln" (except for the Capital City of Springfield) may be found in this collection. Every city and town I've photographed is contained within its own set, and rural (as in "countryside") photographs are grouped by county.
Springfield, Illinois: All of my photographs of Springfield and the Abraham Lincoln Sites are in this collection. For the City of Springfield, there are separate sets for the Capitol Complex, Downtown (including the Old State Capitol), Neighborhoods, Parks, Illinois State Fairgrounds and more. Photographs of Lincoln sites include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Lincoln Tomb, and so on. Also in the Lincoln "All About Abe" (Set) are a few Lincoln sites not located in Springfield.
The Illinois State Fair: My collection of photographs of the Illinois State Fair. The fair offers something for everyone. Grab a corn dog and lemon shake-up, and come take a look!
Beyond Central Illinois: Other locales in the United States and Canada including New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Seattle.
In addition to my location-based sets, here are links to some "topical" collections and sets I've put together:
Barbers & Barber Shops: Traditional barbers and barber shops are on the endangered species list. But there are still plenty to be found if you go looking for them.
Almost Everything Else. Check It Out!!!: Included topics range from man's first walk on the moon to small town schools and churches, and from Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers (our favorite breed) to things that are abandoned, neglected, weathered, or rusty.

The Calais was a full-size luxury car made by Cadillac from 1965 to 1976. For 1965, Cadillac renamed the entry-level Series 62 the Calais, after the French town and resort which overlooks the narrowest point in the English Channel, and from which the White Cliffs of Dover can easily be seen on a clear day. The Calais was available as a 2- or 4-door hardtop as well as a "formal-roof" 4-door sedan, which was a hybrid with frameless, hardtop-like windows, but with a pillar between them. The automobile in this series is the "formal roof" model. With the exception of having no convertible, the Calais mirrored the slightly more expensive and well-equipped de Ville.

I had just bought it a short time before seen on March 13,1983 it had a V6 engine in it but it was a good car until I smashed it in Oct 1985 then I sold it to a friend in 1986 and he fixed it and used it for a few years then sold it to another friend who smashed it again around 1991 and that was the end of it.

Here weaving their way through Aberhirnant. Walking back to the car to dash off to Dyfi to catch the historics again, I noticed this spot. Only shot three cars from this location, the first was blurred, the second wasn't sideways, and then I moved to get a lower position and this car kicked out the backend.
This is my upgrade to Lego's Space Police vehicle in set 5969. Like a few other Lego models, it didn't come with a name, so for this one I chose the Japanese word for Firefly -- Hotaru (蛍).
This model features landing gear and, like Lego's design, a hinged backend. Since the fairings are mounted with pins, they can be moved into some different positions.
The color scheme is Black, White, and Dark Blue. Outer space engines & thrusters are Trans-Neon Orange, and weapons use Metallic Silver. Lastly I use the white triangles on dark blue tiles as a Space Police logo.

As the 1950s drew to a close, Pontiac toyed with the idea of building a car-based pickup to compliment Chevrolet's El Camino. At least one or two prototypes were built, but the model never went into production. This hybrid provides a glimpse of what might have been. It has a full Pontiac front clip and a Bonneville dash. Although the rest of the vehicle appears to be distinctly Chevy, it doesn't take much imagination to replace the Chevrolet seagul fins and eyebrow tail lights with the less dramatic, narrow "v" shaped fins and low and wide lenses that were featured on the Catalina and higher-end Bonneville.
