One of the two strings of GI lamp holders from the backbox. They're all covered in a surface oxidation that powery white, almost like a mould growth. Nothing a few minutes with the mini Dremel can't sort out.

To get the back boxes as high as possible under the fuel tank the inlet pipe needs a kink in it. Hopefully I can get the back boxes built with this welded directly in to avoid any more clamps than necessary.

 

Clearance under the car is now 110mm which is much more acceptable
