I got myself a different kind of button. This is Gomphrena globosa, commonly known as the "Bachelors Button".

My wife says that our cat is cuter than all of the buttons. Here is Woody napping with the TV remote. He was not very cooperative during this photo shoot, so this was the best I could do. What do you think, is Woody cuter than all of the buttons? HMM!

I had set up my daughters Air Cadet button from her wedge against my other daughter's hair bow. This is a contrast between my two daughters for one is very into being an air cadet, and while my youngest has joined, she is still more into doing her hair and makeup!

Buttons on a ground-fault-circuit-interrupter (GFCI) outlet, one kind of a class of devices also known as residual current devices.
The test button should be pressed monthly to confirm the unit works properly, but I wouldn't be surprised if regular testing is rarely performed, if ever.
An alternative shot that I'd taken for this week's Macro Mondays theme of Buttons and Bows.
A leaving present from some friends in the States, that now sits in our living room, a reminder of our great time over in the USA.
Trying out some ideas ahead of the Macro Mondays theme of 'Buttons and Bows' for the coming week. I like the textures and shallow DoF here, but will keep searching for more button-based inspiration!

Today was one of those days... in addition to everything else I’m having computer problems so this image was downloaded to my phone, emailed to my ipad and then processed. I believe it may not be too clear or a very large file so no guarantees on quality but I just couldn’t miss a week 😉
By the way this little charm is about 3/4 inch long and just over 1/4 inch wide. It’s suspended from a curved needle.
