Another shot from an afternoon with a bottle of oil and a camera. It seems that the more I tried to make the bubbles bigger, the smaller they became....everyday is a school day!
Bubbles – Macro Monday. Such a huge variety to choose from. This week I decided to make use of my fish tank, the Zebra Danio and Rosy Barb fish didn’t mind, so I caught the bubbles produced by the aerator system across the surface of, and below, the water. HMM
After shooting the ice cracks in the morning, I set out to see what else this huge lake has to offer.
A few miles down the road, I pulled over and ventured out on to the lake again. Very quickly I found a huge area with lovely methane bubbles! These bubbles are formed as vegetations on the bottom of the lake decay and release gasses, which are then trapped in the ice as the water freezes.
Bubbling up, multiplying
Across the water, floating , flying
Rising, rising, ready to explode
Burst wide open and unload
Disappearing again, sinking down
Into the deep, where bubbles they drown
I placed a colourful abstract image underneath a glass dish that I place in natural light to create this abstract bubble art.
My neice Leah, who, it turns out, loves bubbles! She just wouldn't stop, so I grabbed my camera! Can you believe Fotolia (the stock photo site) didn't want this? Gits.

The final instalment from my recent bubble-fest along Warkworth Beach. This was right at the edge of the wave just before it stopped moving and disappeared into the sand. I decided to tweak this one, just so that it was a bit different to the rest. Probably the last bubble photo for a while as they're taking over my photostream...

A light painted bubble plant, in Brisbane’s Banks Street Reserve. Inspired by some recent light painting photography by Jason D. Page. Bubbles created using a LPB Plexiglass Circle. Plant created using a LPB Green Light Pen. Both tools connected via LPB Universal Connectors to Thorfire TK15S flashlights (on low mode). Ambient light from the full moon. f/5.6, 92secs, ISO800. Post processed from RAW exposure in Lightroom 6.

Was planning to shoot bokeh. In my last upload, one of my friend Seny suggested me to use soda so as to capture bubbles. I wanted the liquid in the previous shot to be juice or something plain. But my frnds suggestion gave me an Idea! "Why not shoot bubbles and bokeh??"..It also sounds good..:P. Hence shot this one. Seny, "bubbles"..:P.. Hope you guys like it..

sb600 @ 1/64th power camera right behind the subject mounted with a DIY 9 inch snoot.
Used a White DIY reflector , camera left next to the subject for fill in.
The Bokeh was achieved with DIY Bokeh wall.. :P
Strobe triggered using Cactus wireless triggers

I always wanted to take a photo of my girls inside a bubble and I took advantage of to put inside them all their friends.
PD: Poor Kurimu! I hadn't realize that she wasn't in any photo this year. I'm a bad mom (I don't want to look how much time have passed since I took the last photograph of some of my girls XD)
