Not the sharpest - there was some wind. I stopped down to f/22 for dof which left me at 1/25 second exposure and some motion blur, but not too bad.
LZ-BTZ (MSN 88A-781) was manufactured in 1988 and delivered to the Bulgarian Government (Aviootryad 28) initially in Balkan Airlines color scheme.
During a major overhaul in late 1999 it received some avionics’ upgrades as well as this livery and the “Republic of Bulgaria” titles.
Besides missions for the government, the aircraft used to operate ad-hoc flights for Balkan and later for Bulgaria Air during times of capacity shortages.
Last flight for the government was conducted in February 2010 and after 6.134 flight hours the aircraft was stored in Sofia.
The aircraft was then sold to a local businessman for $395.000, underwent technical checks and some maintenance in June 2003 before it was ferried to Samara for overhaul in July 2013. In May 2015 whilst at the maintenance plant it was sold again to a Russian owner.

Home-developed with Pyrocat HD 2:2:100/BTZS tubes, 8mins 30secs.
Scanned with Epson V850/Silverfast AiStudio8 (16bit, 1200ppi, film delicately taped to diy silicone mat), cropped in from right and toned gently in Photoshop.
N-2 development was my thinking for non-alternative process printing. For alt-pro (e.g. Pt/Pd) N-1 may have sufficed. Also, 8'30" was probably too long even for N-1 since the neg was about 2 stops too bright; the file had to be darkened in photoshop a fair bit. Dialling in the expansion/contraction times will be a work of practice and experimentation. N-1 would have been possibly more appropriate, and a dev time of something in the region of 8 minutes or slightly less perhaps better. But still a great result as a scanned image worked on in PS.

I shot doubles for all images from this outing, since I plan to start experimenting with alternative processes in a few weeks. Wish me luck with that!!

N+1 development for Argyrotype, BTZS tubes, Pyrocat HD 2:2:100, 20’48”, 21ºC (heavily overdeveloped for argytoype but scanned ok: not quite sure what I was thinking with this one. Would probably have been better with reading the trunk on the left as a midtone and using a contracted development. The heavily extended development as it is pulled up the midtones and shadows as well as the highlights and made an argyrotype print impossible.)

For the first time I shot doubles of the latest images, processing the second of the two sheets for a longer time. I'm getting the ducks in the row to start alternative process printing shortly - both Cyanotypes and Argyrotypes. Should be fun!
I used just the modeling lights on this, as this lens is a barrel lens and can't easily work with flash. Exposure was 2 1/2secs at f/4
