Nikko’s Shinkyo Bridge is a river crossing that officially belongs to the nearby Futarasan Jinja Shrine. The elegant arc of this bridge crosses the Daiya-gawa River and contrasts beautifully with the natural scenery around it.
The name “Shinkyo” means “sacred bridge” and the bridge is considered to be one of Japan’s most beautiful bridges.
Egton Bridge is a village in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire, England. It lies within the North York Moors National Park, on the River Esk, between the villages of Glaisdale and Grosmont, about six miles south-west of Whitby, and on the route of the Esk Valley Walk which passes this house.
The village is served by Egton railway station, on the Esk Valley Line, which also serves the nearby village of Egton.

Pitt River Bridge
The Pitt River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Pitt River between Port Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows in British Columbia, Canada. The bridge is part of Highway 7, carrying Lougheed Highway across the river. The current bridge opened on October 4, 2009. The bridge includes a 380 m cable stay bridge structure, 126 m of multi-span approaches, a 50 m interchange structure and approximately 2 km of grade construction. Total project cost for the bridge was $200 million (Wikipedia)

Samuel Beckett Bridge was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. The shape of the spar and its cables is said to evoke an image of a harp lying on its edge.(The harp being the national symbol for Ireland from as early as the thirteenth century)

The Bridge of Remembrance is one of two main war memorials in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is dedicated to those who died in World War I, and serves as a memorial for those who participated in two World Wars as well as subsequent conflicts in Borneo, Korea, Malaya, and Vietnam.Owned by Christchurch City Council, it is located on the Cashel Street Bridge at the head of City Mall. The Bridge of Remembrance was repaired and strengthened following the 2011 Christchurch earthquake and was reopened with a rededication ceremony held on Anzac Day in 2016.
