I don't think this little wren enjoyed me interrupting his song, but I was glad to find him - and thought the contrast with the berries behind gave things a very "holiday-like" feel...

not only by the alarm clock ... ;-)

Happy Monday!

Jabiru (Jabiru mycteria) attacked by horse flies / Bremsen (Tabanidae)

on the riverbank of São Lourenço River, Pantanal, MT, Brazil

As the fog rolls through the morning - the Bison don't seem to be bothered as they munch on the grasses. Despite recent defensive attacks on people in the park they live a peaceful and slow-moving life on the fields.

Australasian darter or Australian darter (Anhinga novaehollandiae), female

She's been trying to get the knot off her beak.

I normally don't bother posting a hawk just sitting on a pole, but this Red Tail Hawk was framed perfectly!

Judging by its stare, taping a mouse to my head must of worked to get its attention!

It bothers me that one of the lights was out, but still, an impressive door!

From my original image titled "Why are you bothering me"

Shot with the Olympus E-M1 in Rome, Italy.

Bothered bee on Day Lily

Don't Bother Me I am eating now, Skippy is very intent on eating his peanut, as you can tell.

I haven't posted this before... It bothered me that his eyes were different sizes, I guess... but I keep coming back to it, because of his earnest, friendly face. Guru makes a lot of eye contact--one of the things I really love about him. That's why I'm choosing this image for this week's Happy Caturday group theme: a photo we love of a cat that we love.

Happy Caturday! =^..^= ❤️

Crazy Tuesday Theme: Round

This is a Red Winged blackbird nest I just want to make clear that I respect every nest that I find I would never ever bother any parents or the babies or eggs. I just took a photo and walk a way to be sure do not attract any predators.

I can make it hurricane on it

Hunnid bands, make it rain on it

Tie it up, put a chain on it

Make you tattoo my name on it, oh

Make you cry like a baby, yeah

Let's Go Pro and make a video, yeah

Make you cry like a baby, yeah

Let's Go Pro and make a video

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah

Baby, you can

Ride it, ooh yeah

Bring it over to my place

And you be like

"Baby, who cares?"

But I know you care

Bring it over to my place

You don't know what you did, did to me

Your body lightweight, speaks to me

I don't know what you did, did to me

Your body lightweight, speaks to me

Oh bother, more daffodils!

Our daffodils are sprouting out of the ground and it is raining. The birds are so happy!

Take good care my friends, I have to go and chase turkeys :(

Too comfortable to bother waking up.

One of the most Beautiful moments of my Life! African sunset, I had just got the Canon camera, it was late wintertime, and the cold couldn't bother me in all the new excitement, our winter's not being so bad after all. My first ever real sunset experience, a sea of clouds above, with the feeling and spirit of Ra!! ☀️ The Magaliesberg mountains, leading out into the distance, they stretch for many many miles across, they are some of the very oldest in all the world-wide; the reason they appear smooth.

Dear friends, hope the picture can bring peace and hope in these crazy times happening to us all, may it find you well, our God bless.

Thanks for your loyal support, it has meant so much to me.

You know, sometimes it bothers me that Q comes before S. I feel like this is something I only think when I am incredibly sleep deprived, like I am right now.

Check out Remnant when you get a chance! There's a lot of great post-apoc themed items at the shopping event, including this cross prop pictured here from Disorderly! Comes in three different styles with lots of pose variations! This is not to theme, but they still look really great. I'm sure there are still cards after the Reckoning, or something. You won't have TV, probably, what else are you gonna do?

Trunk Show is still kicking around until the 18th, and you can get this fab updo from Exile if you're so inclined!

There's a limited group gift over at Zibska that you can grab now, too! Plus, a nice soft-coloured makeup set coming to Blush!

Rides over on my blog!

Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!

I dunno. Do we think this bird passes the test for adult Red-tailed Hawk? Just joshin'. It's taking its early breakfast to a place where it won't be bothered. I didn't bother it on purpose - I'm just moseying down the dirt road lined with power poles, and this bird was dining on one. Soon as I get closer with the rolling blind, it flies to the next pole. Mind you, I'm not trying for photos of a hawk on a pole tearing bites off its hard-earned breakfast. Been there, done that. I'm just driving. So after I bothered it off a couple more poles, I decided maybe I could turn this into something. I stopped the car further away than the fly-zone of the next pole, got out with the camera ready for a flight shot, and walked towards the bird. Poor thing flew again, I got my photo burst and let it be.

And have we ID'd the prey? How could I not, by that well-known foot. I did get a few other frames with more light on the prey, but I kinda liked the "mystery" of this one. There were, by the way, a million more coots out there that day.

Happy Caturday 25.1.2020 "Winter weather"

We haven't had a snowflake this winter yet, so I chose this picture - at least it is white :-)

The cold doesn't bother Timmy, he sleeps even at -2 °C (28,4°F) for hours on his bench on the terrace. At this sight my mother is always very cold :-)))

English/German

At the Passo di Giau I tried to photograph the Milky Way at home when I was editing, I noticed the green light in the sky. At first I thought it was somehow a sensor error, so I asked a colleague, he told me it was airglow, I didn't know what it was until now, so I googled it and found several videos that explain the airglow phenomenon well . For people who find the topic interesting, I have a suitable video on Youtube: Airglow: Jagd nach dem Alpenleuchten Gut zu wissen BR. (only for German speaking people)

for english speaking people Video Title on Youtube: Earth's Airglow Explained.

(I have to admit, it wasn't as strong as it is in the photo now. It bothered me at first when I didn't know that because I couldn't get it retouched out, but when I found out what it is, I took advantage of it and enhanced it in photoshop)

(only for German speaking people)

for english speaking people Video Title on Youtube: Earth's Airglow Explained.

It's too hot !!! outdoors, 34-37 degrees

It is cooler , in the stable , climate control

I was bothered by this lot and their mates the entire morning at Peveril, no idea why they were so fascinated by me. Very cute though 😁 The proof should you need it.

Anyway! Back from 7 days bothering rocks in Greece. I often wonder where they come up with names for rock climbing routes. Two highlights from this trip were the delightfully named "Fuck 88" and "Septic Flesh". I think I discovered the origins of the latter when I added my own contribution to the pile of flesh, when I removed my fingers from a pocket and dripped blood all over my best top and shoes 😁 Still cruised the route though 😎 Forgot how much I love sunny bolt clipping.

Happy Sunday people, slowly catching up with what I've missed!

I don't often bother with herons, there is a heronry in my local park at Wollaton, I see them there on my regular walks, so I tend to take them for granted, but this caught my eye as it flew across in front of the autumnal vegetation. That and the rather Jurassic appearance of the bird in this shot!

Thank you for your faves and comments, much appreciated

Black-bellied Plovers

Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary, Alameda, California

I was able to get really close to this white wagtail, I did not seem to bother him at all as he gazed out over the water.

These flies were very annoying and would bother us when they didn't have birds to bother. I guess these birds don’t have too many feathers on top of their head so it’s easier for the flies to bite them. Jabiru taken in North Pantanal, Brazil.

Thank you for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.

"Oh, bother. Piglet, you're looking a bit like a very small, very pink, very frozen lollipop" said me in the way Winnie the Pooh would.

HMM!

Macro Mondays: In Ice.

Piglet is a button and measures 2.54cm (1 inch) the tip of his ears to his toes.
