at the steelworks again with BOSS today, did the clown sketch a while back and BOSS has been on me to put it up so I said go ahead you do it, so here we are! finished just in time but there was more to be had!
My entry for the Like a Boss Contest. Not sure what photo I will submit, or even if it will be one of these. Could end up making some last minute adjustments.
For this MOC I decided to work with some of my currently most hated LEGO pieces: The 4 large elements from UFO and the wings from the same line.
I ended up doing a mix of UFO and Alien Conquest, hopefully drawing upon the qualities of both themes. I had to cut some play-features, such as hidden weapons and morphing, due to the large UFO elements difficult design. I'm still quite happy with the result. :-)
It still has one play-feature: A spinning frontal gatling-like gun which is operated (rotated) from the underneath the rear engines. At the same time the ship can be held easily near this gun-control making it very swooshable. Something I take a lot of pride in :-)

The architect Mengoni was responsible for refurbishing piazza Duomo in the mid 19th century, and he also designed the sumptuous covered arcade,Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, that has always been the traditional meeting-place for an informal business discussion, socializing, or just watching the people of Milan go by. At the time (1865-78), the use of iron and glass for the roof was innovative, even daring (the Eiffel tower would be built in 1889): the concept of a covered arcade with shops on the ground floor, offices and apartments on upper floors, was also new at the time, and would be copied, for example in Naples and in Moscow.

I had this empty Hugo Boss, which I must say was a good smelling parfume! I was more or less playing with a color of an LED strip I kinda installed to the back of my computer desk, trying to bridge some photography-laziness, I tried some shot at this empty glass and this shot was good enough to share!
