Bosa is a small town in north-west Sardinia which lies by the river Temo at few distance from the sea (see map at right). Recently has become a tourist attractions thanks to its lovely beach. On top of the hill you can see the castle built around 1200.

Bosa è una cittadina della Sardegna nord occidentale situata sulle rive del fiume Temo a pochi chilometri dal mare (vedi cartina a destra). Gli abitanti di Bosa godono di una immeritata fama di saggi in Sardegna, infatti tradizionalmente si usa dire: "Fai come fanno a Bosa, quando piove lasciano piovere".

Tornando da Macomer verso il mare gli ultimi chilometri scendono rapidamente dalle alture verso il mare con alcuni tornanti. Dopo uno di questi si incontra una terrazza panoramica (dal fondo disastrato n.d.r.) dalla quale si gode di una vista incantevole sul borgo di Bosa e sul suo castello che lo sovrasta come una corona.
Credo che questa foto possa testimoniare che l'inserimento fra i borghi più belli d'Italia sia pienamente meritato.

Located in the north-central coast of Sardinia, it is a small village of ancient origins. Crossed by the river Temo (only navigable river in Sardinia) is characterized by typical colorful houses in pastel colors, the wrought-iron balconies, the narrow alleys of the old town … give it a magical atmosphere in Bosa handing the title of one of the most beautiful villages of Italy.
The ancient village called Sa Costa is located at the foot of the hill Serravalle and is dominated by the Malaspina castle. The streets of the old town are accessible only by foot, given the narrow streets, alleys, arcades.
