From the Kentucky coal mine to the California sun
There Bobby shared the secrets of my soul
Through all kinds of weather, through everything we done
Yeah, Bobby baby, kept me from the cold

Bobby and Mimmo are die-hard alpine skiing fans, especially of Marco Odermatt from Switzerland. Unfortunately, he didn't do so well in the last downhill, but the next day he won the giant slalom. Yay.

Met up with my friend Bobby who is the founder of Liberty VIP to shoot his GS in Philly a couple weekends ago. Went for a slightly different style with this edit... I liked how the heat from the exhaust showed in this shot and it showed off the 19x11 -11's out back!

This was taken at the 2nd Annual Duck-N-Jeep Jam which is a charity event hosted by The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office and The Special Olympics! It’s aim obviously is to raise money for the Special Olympics Organization. By all accounts it was a great success.
My photographic plans, however, failed for the day. It was HOT and I just couldn't get in the groove to take photographs and those i did suffered from non attention to my camera settings or attempts at composition. I don’t often have days where I absolutely can not concentrate, even a little, on my photography but here was a major one. I felt hot, miserable and dehydrated no matter how much I drank. My wife suffered worse than I and almost passed out. I worried for her a eventually decided to get her out of there, albeit the event was almost over at that point.
Personal problems aside, this is a great and worthwhile charitable event. I can not wait until next year where I hope the weather will be a little milder or my wife and I are better prepared.
