Red Barn, Museum of Flight, Seattle, WA.
The Red Barn at the Museum of Flight is the original factory of the Boeing Aircraft Company. Back in 1916, airplanes were made from wood and fabric, not aluminum and titanium. The people who worked on these marvels were craftsmen as well as airplane builders. Little did they know that what started in that little barn, would evolve to the most prominent aerospace company on Earth.
Nikon F5, 16-35mm VR f/4 lens at 26mm, 1/13 sec at f/5.6. Fujichrome Provia 400X color reversal film developed at EI 400 in an Arista Rapid E-6 kit at 105F.

the blueprint was read backwards thats why they mess it up... and now I have to fix it... arrrrrggggggh!!!

Goal: Series sermon art
Audience: 1300+ congregation ages 18-80
Direction: The idea is becoming who God has called us to be as a church. What are the things He has uniquely designed the Church to do and how can we be the best at accomplishing that. Integrating the idea of DNA and blueprint without feeling medical or sterile.
Project: Art for title slide and a few other web uses. Series is called "Blueprint" with the idea that our DNA, our blueprint as a Church is God-designed and we are exploring what that means and does not mean for our church.
Other important info: Project in the works so feedback is helpful. Pastor felt the other was too busy so we gave this as an alternate.
We're meeting with the architect and contractor on Friday to go over details, so David set up story poles in the front yard to envision spaces. The more I look at these plans, the more excited I get. It feels SO good to be moving ahead, at long last.
A blueprint by John Arnold Thomson for the Masonic King Baldwin Preceptory, No. 6 located in Belleville, Ontario. The plan features a supper room, board room, kitchen, assembly hall and lodge room. Signed on February 27, 1926.
