I'll be hosting a panel on service design at Adaptive Path called, Seeing Tomorrow's Services. I wanted to let people experience a designed service, so I'm doing some light service design for the actual event; hence, this blueprint.

As a part of my 2015 LEGOWorld layout, I've created some daleks. Took the inspiration from the various LEGO Daleks that can be found online and created my own ones. Lot's of people asked how they were made, so I've created some building instructions for them.
Off course you could make them in any color you can get the parts in.
About an hour of sketching on the Wacom to see how well this would work. Turns out, it's fairly usable. I think I want to go back and redo icons like Photos, Calculator and Clock to be more in the style of Installer, Mail and iLight.
Of course I had replaced all the app icons manually just minutes before finding out that the latest SummerBoard update added icon support to their theme sets (so I switched all the apps back to their originals and dumped the icons in a theme set instead... much simpler!)

"Infiltrator"
A medium-duty VTOL aircraft designed for enhanced maneuverability. Intermeshing rotor design is fully functional and can be hand-driven. The tail section is built with modularity in mind for easy reconfiguration of different tail styles; the default tail turbine has approximately 90 degrees of sweep along with tilting at either extreme.

Updated after coming across this blue print tutorial www.flickr.com/photos/frombol/albums/72157718152670087/wi...
by Tommaso Ferrarese with a bit of my own texture overlay. The tutorial was a big timesaver in terms of getting the 4 views formatted on one sheet and exporting all at once.
