I could watch hummingbirds for hours. They hover, seeming suspended in mid-air, only to dart away, dive and then rise up, all the while buzzing away with unabashed joy. Now that Spring is here they should be back soon. I can't wait!

...of the potentially mischievous crab antics behind us, the pups were mesmerized by the waves coming ashore, and mini me was dreaming of tequila, which was the only thing missing from this wonderfully secluded tropical paradise we happened upon during late night SL adventuring! I was having yet another of my favorite goth meets whimsical landscape moments here...the fun of SL, right? 💕🐶🌴 I hope everyone has been happy and healthy in this far too quickly passing by year. It has truly felt like blink and you’ll miss it so far! 💕
i am thankful for moments when i remember to pause and be present. . . appreciating the warmth of a bath, the crackle of a fire or getting lost in a book...or simply feeling the joy of a stolen moment to myself to catch up on news.

This sculpture of the Lord Buddha was photographed in a beautiful little temple in the middle of the Beira Lake right in the heart of the bustling city Colombo in Sri Lanka.
A matched pair of the Sundance peaks reflected in the smallest Vermilion lake near Banff. Bliss it was.

This part of the trail was very slow. Not because it was steep, or muddy, or treacherous in any way. I needed the time to stop, and stare and absorb the blissful scenery.

If you want to end up with a great image the single most important thing you can do is take an interesting photo and look for the subject and composition, to begin with. Look for an object that catches your eye. So This photo had a tremendous appeal to me.I don't know whether I was successful or not, but it did give me a positive vibe in it while clicking... The Fire Wave is an extremely popular sandstone formation in the Valley of Fire. Treating it like a park bench, two women were blissfully enjoying the view unaware there were several photographers in the vicinity attempting to shoot the formation.

Here is cranked the ISO back to 100, and extended the exposure there in the very early twilight to 4 minutes. It amazed me that the low clouds over the trees moved very little that morning. Amazing what the weather can deliver ... like a box of chocolates ... until you open it you do not know what you will get.
