Today we passed by the Animal Market (next to Friday Market). Nat wants to get a pet so we went to see what was available. We found dogs, cats, birds, monkeys, ostriches, chickens, ducks, turkeys, you name it they had it. In the end we decided we would get a hamster. Before we do though we need to order the hamster a decent playground. I hate putting animals in cages. I would never buy birds for example because I can't stand the site of them being locked up. So, I told Nat if we are going to get a hamster we should get him the coolest playground we can get. Something huge with lots of things for the hamster to do. I checked Amazon.com and found a couple of cool products but we will probably go with the Park Avenue Duplex since its the biggest playground we could find and I could expand it more with accessories if I wanted to. Once I place the order and get the product, then we will go back to the animal market and get hamster. I still need to read online though if it would be better to get 2 hamsters that way they could entertain themselves. Off the subject now, remember the microwave oven macaroni and cheese product I purchased the other day. Well it turned out to be amazing, I have had it twice now and I really enjoyed it both times. Its very easy to make and costs only 950 fils for a pack of 6 dinners. I definitely recommend it.

today, june had her best day ever! first, she had two hours of agility class outdoors on a beautiful, spring-like day. then she got to go down to the pond on the same property and swim with her sister and chocolate lab friends, jackson and parker, and border collie friends, triton and mercury. after that, she got to come back up to the agility field and run around with the border collies. she has had a little dog crush on triton since she was a wee pup, so getting to play with him was pretty exciting. but then, her real dream came true... she was able to coax the boys into chasing her around and around the field. junie loooooves to be chased, but none of the dogs she regularly plays with are interested in her game. the border collies were willing to play! after everyone was sufficiently dry and tired, we went to the beach and walked for a while, then stopped at a dog-friendly outdoor restaurant for dinner (for me, not the dogs, although they did get a nibble) where june sat in a chair at the table, watching people go by.

In its third year, Pig & Whiskey celebrates barbecue, whiskey and live music. This year’s event was held at 4 Hands Brewing Co. in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. On the evening we attended, the bands included Smash Mouth, Blind Melon and Bad Habit. Admission is free, but the barbecue and whiskey will cost you a bit.

In the 90's the Mainstream Media gave into Alternative as the new phenomenon and sound of the decade. You can go to Nirvana, Tool, The Cranberries, Alanis Morrisette, Green Day (when they were good), Creed, Will Smith (the fresh prince), Kid Rock, The Cardigans, NSYNC, Korn and other artists within this decade of alternative sounds. Children enjoyed it, teens fell in love with it and adults embraced it as music at its greatest potential! All cultural media also molded with it creating a decade never to be forgotten.
