Our congregation put together these "Blessing Bags", in male and female versions, to provide some basic toiletries and necessities to anyone we meet who might be in need.
The greatest difficulty spiritually is to
concentrate upon God, and His bles-

The monument to the Seraphim Bishop of Dmitrov. Martyr for the faith, is officially recognised as such in 2000, Bishop Seraphim, in the world Zvezdinskiy, suffered for the faith under the Soviet regime.
Actually, the oppression of the Church touched him back in the early 1920s, when the authorities sentenced him to exile, then it several times arrested and exiled.
Priest during his lifetime enjoyed considerable influence and respect among parishioners.
In 1937 the people's Commissariat of internal Affairs feel the need to get rid of unwanted and obstinate Bishop, and in the same year he was shot.
Now he (and partly, as stated, all victims of persecution), a monument to the side of the Cathedral of the Assumption in his former diocese in Dmitrov.

As always i get a blessing when i visit the Buddha in the Thai-Sala in Westpark, Munich.

Everyday these fishermen pull their nets around sunset at SeaView Beach, Karachi. After sorting out their catch they leave unwanted (usually small) fishes at the shore … some of these pull in by the sea water some become supper for the waiting birds and some stock is picked by the waiting people. These are those who can’t afford buying any kind of meat off the shelf but try their luck in these kinds of situations. Here, an old man with his grandchildren, picking up leftover small size fishes from the water for their dinner!

Challenge: Blessings.
I am blessed to live in Australia, I love this country and I think I am very blessed to live here, it's a beautiful country and for me, I enjoy traveling and seeing what else this great country has to offer, has great beaches, great weather and great people. Next year I'm planning a trip to a state I've never been to.. Gold Coast, so I'm really looking forward to a lot of sun, surf and sand.
Here is a cute Kangaroo that is in my CBD, and of course very Australia, so I think he fits very well into this weeks challenge. I couldn't find a real Kangaroo, so he'll have to do :)

Shot this at the opening of the 2007 Kona Brewer's Festival in Kailua-Kona. I had shot this same halau a few nights previous at the beer dinner, but had an easier time of it in daylight.
