Though I really don't know the meaning of the black flag of the Shiite Muslims, I have an eerie feeling everytime I see it. Because in my culture black is the symbol of death, and is only displayed during funeral wakes.
This particular photo is one of my favorite. It looks very mysterious and dramatic.

the digitally drawn arrows point to me -- I was at this '84 Black Flag show to get some band photos and interview Henry for a friend's zine. One question I remember asking -- "What do you mean when you say you're pro-nuclear war?" Henry said something like: "I mean just that. It would be great if everyone was gone and the cockroaches ruled the world"

Another old negative of the Rollins Band at Trees in Dallas, Texas. This was taken during 1991 or 1992, I cannot remember. Love him or hate him, Henry and the boys put on a hell of a show.

Medusa = rad. She is hardly ever used in flyers. Great image her, very stark. The use of he crunched up line spacing is good, too. Nice!
