Back in 1975, my pal & I just wandered along the tracks as you used to do! Heading out of Birmingham New Street is 50013 on a relief to Paignton. Any further location info would be appreciated.
Earlier in the year I did a set of abstract reflections from Venice. So it only seemed fitting to try and do the same from the other canal city during my visit. These are all taken around Gas Street Basin.

A Birmingham, Alabama Sunset taken on December 17th, 2014, I liked how the setting sun was lighting up the clouds.
The preserved Birmingham City Transport AEC Matador sits in the sunshine after completing its test, the owner Rob Handford having fitted a replacement gearbox. The other ex Birmingham resident in the photograph is a 1947 Daimler CVA with Metro-Cammell body. Both vehicles are on display at the Wythall Transport Museum.
